K-1 (ages 3-6)

We are introducing Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program this year for anyone aged 3-6. Steph Mattrey, who has been a CCD teacher for the past couple of years, has been training to bring this program to our parish. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori based catechetical program that aims to teach children the tenets of the Catholic faith through hands on, experiential, child led learning. Classes will be at the same time on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 am in brand new Level 1 Atrium, which is housed in the Saint Brigid Parish Center. The Atrium is a large, beautiful, sunny haven of natural wonder which will spark a child’s joy and love for the Catholic faith. If you would like to learn more about CGS please visit this website. 3-6 & First Communion (2nd grade)

3-6 grades and First Communion (Grade 2) meets Sundays from 9:15-10:15 am in the many rooms at Newman during the academic year- September through May. Please find the schedule for class below.​

7-8 & Confirmation

​

7-8 grades will meet Sundays 5:00-6:45 pm and Confirmation class meets Sundays from 5:00-6:45 pm in two different rooms at the Newman Center- September through May. Curriculum for Confirmation class is the program Chosen: Your Journey toward Confirmation. I encourage you to watch the following video as an introduction into what the program will touch on.
