Graduate Student and Young Professional Group

The Newman Graduate Student and Young Professional Group facilitates spiritual, social, and service events for area Catholic graduate students and young professionals. Our events include faith discussions, food drives, outdoor sports, picnics, bowling, and dinners.

Join us on Saturday, April 13, 2008

--- for the 4:30 pm. Mass. We are always looking for student Eucharistic Ministers, lectors, and/or Acolytes!

--- After Mass have a bite to eat, play games, hang out and talk and/or check out the night's films: "Fried Green Tomatoes" and "Steel Magnolias".

Are you looking for graduate students and young professionals like yourself who share your beliefs? We hang around The Newman Cafe after the 10:30 Mass most Sundays. Grab a cuppa Joe, look around for a boisterous group of twenty- thirty- and forty-somethings (and a few of our children) and pull up a chair.

On the First Thursday of the month at 9pm we head out for ABC (Amherst Brewing Company) Upstairs. Join us! There's lots to do - pool, foosball, ping pong, darts, and of course, hanging out and talking with other Newmanites. If you need a ride or directions, come to Newman at 8:45 and we'll carpool.
