G K Chesterton What:  An Evening With G.K.Chesterton
When:  November 15th, 2008 7:00PM
Where: Newman Catholic Center, Amherst

G. K. Chesterton will journey all the way from England to offer his own unique views on everything from the virtues of things small, whether they be families or pubs, to the evils of things large, whether they be imperialist schemes or socialist states. A man of paradox and humor, he will surprise you, confound you, and provoke you. Come and see Dr. Chuck Chalberg bring G.K.C. to life. Admission is free, goodwill offerings will be accepted. Newman Festival Choir What:  Newman Festival Choir Concert

Music to highlight the end of the liturgical season of Ordinary Time, the month of All Souls and the approach of Thanksgiving. An audience sing-a-long caps the afternoon program. Hosted by Newman Music Ministry.
St Petersburg Mens Ensemble What:  St. Petersburg Men's Ensemble:
       Russian Choral Music

When:  December 4th, 2008 7:30PM
Where: Newman Catholic Center, Amherst

The St. Petersburg Men's Ensemble returns to Newman to once again fill Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel with the glorious sound of Russian Classical, Sacred and Folk music. Admission is free, goodwill offerings will be accepted.

Schola Nova What:  Christmas with Schola Nova
