CATHOLIC SOCIAL JUSTICE EDUCATION AND FORMATION FOR ALL ADULTS

JUSTFAITH: adult Catholic formation. Offers 15 people lively, challenging readings, films, discussions, prayers, and experiences firmly rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition. In addition to hands-on education through experience in our social justice ministries, the Newman Center can host any of the opportunities offered to adult Catholics by the Springfield Diocese's Office of Parish Social Ministry, Catholic Charities Agency.

ART - Act, Reflect, Transform - WORKSHOP: A three-hour workshop that introduces Catholic Social Teaching, inspires us to participate locally and globally, and introduces approaches for justice and peace ministry discernment. FROM VIOLENCE TO WHOLENESS: a ten-session small faith group experience. Offers education, inspiration, formation from deep within the Roman Catholic tradition of active non-violence.
