Saturday Night Life at Newman (SNL)

SNL Movie Listings

SNL is the place to hang out, watch some flicks, have some food, and meet up with friends. SNL takes place on the Chapel level of the Newman Center. Activities begin right after the Saturday 4:30 Mass and Vespers with an episode of Fr Doug's favorite show, Babylon 5 (ya, we know, but he is the Director so we have to humor him).

The real movies get going around 7:00. All the films are shown on the Burke Lounge 110" state of the art Theater system with Dolby Digital Surround Sound (300W subwoofer!). Doors are open till midnight.

Soda's, Snacks, and Dinner are available in the Burke Lounge. The rest of the main floor is open for what ever you folks want to do (as long as it isn't indecent, immoral or will leave scuff marks on the floor). Ping Pong in the main hall is popular. We have several groups of students who like to play board games. Fr Doug is looking for musicians who might want to jam in the Fr Quigley Room.
