"Looking for a Sign" Fund goes over $6,000 | Amherst, Monday, 25 July 2007
Just the other day, Fr Doug's own brother couldn't find the Newman Center because there's no sign out front!
Every day, we hear from folks who have had a hard time finding
us. Even students, faculty and staff of the University often don't
know what the building with the statue over the front door is.
But that's changing soon because the "Looking for a Sign"
fund is $6,123 towards our goal of $16,000.
Special thanks go to the parishioners of St. Cecilia's Church in Wilbraham MA and their pastor Fr. Joe Soranno. So far they
have raised $5,378. St C's (Fr Doug's old assignment) are
really coming threw for Newman.

Joe Quigley Scholarship Fund. One to three scholarships will be awarded annually to need-based undergraduate students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Campus.
